Vintage unrestored Walt Disney -PLUTO-Dumbo cookie jar 1940s
This is a very unusual piece to find. The front of the cookie jar is PLUTO and the back is DUMBO. 13 1/2 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches long. There is paint loss, as there is with all the piece produced in this period. As they pieces were cold painted which led to paint loss over time.
Pluto has a yellow bow and there is an attempted chip with repair on his ear. There is a small chip to the interior of the head piece which. Does not show with head on. Dumbo has a yellow collar and a small red bow to top of his head. There is a chip to the bottom of Dumbo's left ear. There is some crazing to the interior bottom of the cookie jar.
