WALT DISNEY WORLD - Soft Sculpture Doll - Decorative PROP Art Piece. I live in Florida where the estate of this piece obtained it around the opening of Walt Disney World. I understand there is a deep history with Marionettes in Disney via shows, window displays, and other Disney promotions within the park.

Well I was half right, I found out from the people at Bob Baker Marionette this is not a Marionette. They helped me get info from a Disney artist and expert who helped me with feedback on the item. It is actually a Soft-Sculpture Doll on a swing, the strings are just for the swing it is displayed on. Was told likely Hand Made from the Walt Disney World WDW Decorating Dept. The stitching quality and positions of every curve of this piece is done with great care and obviously from a great artist.

She wears a black costume that is partially stapled to the wood seat so it stays positioned correctly from all viewing angles. Then it comes with its duplicate costume but in White. Suggested by a current Disney expert on all things Vintage Disney I talked to. He has seen similar props used to decorate shops in the early 70's at Disneyland think New Orleans Square' mardi gras'. This all backs up the story from the estate from around the opening at WDW, a hanging store display perhaps around the main street shops or magic shops.

541 7400 are also numbers on the price tag, anybody know what these mean? Or any other information would be glad to hear from you. Eyelash has to be re-glued and her hat is falling off, easy fix. Pretty much excellent condition, no off smells and well cared for. (Heavy/Awkward items may take another day). This drastically will cut back delays in the system & resolve questions more quickly.
