Rare Complete Vintage 1971 Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom Opening Ticket Book
Rare Find - An Authentic October 1971 Vintage "100% Intact & Original" Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom Opening 7 Adventure Ticket Book #S018373. In beautiful condition, like it just came from a Magic Kingdom ticket booth yesterday.
All tickets are still attached just like they were over 50 years ago when it was made. I believe this ticket book (and the other items that were found with it) were part of a promotional package Disney sent out to news outlets around the country in advance of the Magic Kingdom opening.
In this case, I think someone placed the envelope in a file cabinet and it was forgotten. I paid more than I could afford at the time for this and those other items, but it was the ultimate find for me. It has been kept in a controlled location since then, protected from light and inside a protective clear sleeve, it's only been handled by me a few times over the years. This connected me to the time when I first visited the newly opened theme park in 1971 as a kid with my family, a time when I had to carefully choose what ride or show I would use each ticket from my book for. Items that I collected, but this is the hardest one for me to part with. Now I'm offering it for another collector at this "make me let it go" price, which includes a donation to my favorite charity.
